Hypotenuse Wrap: A Color Blocked Triangle Scarf

The Hypotenuse Wrap takes a familiar triangle-based construction and adapts it into a shape that’s easy to wear. By shifting the proportions into a traditional scarf silhouette, the finished piece drapes naturally, stays put, and works well as an everyday layer.

The fabric is knit at a loose gauge, creating a light, fluid scarf that highlights the clean geometry of the triangles and requires just one skein of each color.

With simple construction and a steady rhythm, this is an enjoyable knit that lets color and texture shine, resulting in a scarf you’ll reach for again and again.
